The Nice Triathlon became IRONMAN France event in 2005. Since then athlete from all around the world come to Nice on the Côte d'Azur every year to take on this challenging race. 

The Ironman France Nice begins with a beach start and embark on a two-loop, 2.4-mile swim in the Mediterranean Sea.

The 112-mile bike course is the jewel of IRONMAN France as it follows much of the original Nice Triathlon route and passes through villages and mountains.

There are 6,000 feet of challenging climbs.

The 26.2-mile run includes a flat and fast four-loop course along the Promenade des Anglais.

The Ironman Nice attracts spectators from all around the world that support sportsmen and sportswomen along the route.

IRONMAN France offers 40 qualifying slots for the 2016 IRONMAN World Championship in Kailua-Kona, HI.
